Loving Husband, Devoted Father and Grandfather and Great-Grandfather and Loyal Friend, Ralph Eugene Else born 12-29-29 in Stockport, IA went home to be with his Lord on February 13, 2015 after complications from a fall and Alzheimers’. He is preceded in death by his parents, Harold & Marion Else and his first wife of 30 years, Mary Quinn Else. He is survived by his Second wife of 33 years, Diane Else. Also Survived by his three sisters: Eleanor Barr of Florida, Mary Stonebraker of California, and Carolyn Cloke of Iowa. And four children: Cynthia Else Harris of Melissa, Tx, Steven E. Else of Alexandria, Virginia, Raymond E. Else of Garland, Tx, and John Wayne Else of Hilo, Hawaii. Plus 12 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren. Also several nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews. All of the above he loved with all his heart and was so proud of each and everyone of them. He was a proud Veteran of 22 years with the Navy. He retired as a Chief Petty Officer after 2 tours of distinguished duty in the Vietnam and Korea conflicts. This was one of his proudest accomplishments. Ralph retired after 20 years of dedicated service with LTV in Grand Prairie. Ralph loved to work and always had side jobs and lots of hobbies. Ralph loved to fly and to teach other students how to fly. He also did mechanical work on airplanes and cars. He was mechanical and was always working in his shop or heading to Home Depot to buy more tools and supplies. Service will take place at 3:00 pm, Saturday, February 21, 2015 at Restland Wildwood Chapel with visitation one hour prior. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Alzheimers’ Association.
