Ralph was born in Bellfonte, Pennsylvania on January 17, 1942, passed away on July 11, 2022 at age 80 in Mabank, Texas.
He was predeceased by his parents, Robert Russler Holderman and Rachel Alice Stanton Holderman and daughter, Tammi Grannet.
He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Patricia Florence Stevens Holderman; sons, Ronald Holderman (Steffani Kable Holderman) of Kaufman Texas and Ralph S. Holderman, Jr. (Trixie Holderman) of Amarillo, Texas and daughters, Patricia Diane Holderman (Weston Thiss) of Combine, Texas and Theresa Marie Holderman Ranne of Balch Springs, Texas. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.
Ralph married Pat on July 8, 1967, recently celebrating 55 years of marriage. Blending their kids, they started the military family life, sharing a love of travel, animals and cars.
Ralph was a proud veteran of the United States Army. Throughout his career, he was in the Military Police. He was deployed to France; Fort Mead, Maryland; Ft. Holabird, Maryland; Kitzingen, Germany; Dallas, Texas; Korea; Fort Riley, Kansas; Baumholder, Germany and Ft. Devons, Massachusetts. He served in many capacities including Criminal Investigation Division, Game Warden, AWOL Apprehension and Air Defense Artillery. He retired in 1984 at the Rank of First Sergeant.
Ralph was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars, Order of the Eastern Star, Shriners and Scottish Rite. He achieved the rank of the thirty-second degree Master Mason.
Visitation will be 9:00 am July 19, 2022 followed by a Military funeral at 10:00 am in the Abbey Chapel at Restland Memorial Park, 13005 Greenville Avenue., at the intersection of Restland Road, Dallas, Texas 75243.
