You were a joy to work with but I will remember you by how great a father you were. You worked two jobs and always updated us on your sons with such pride. I will miss your new pictures of the "little angle" granddaughter in CT.
A gentleman and a friend. We will miss your humor – smile – and company.
Ourthought and prayers are you
It's been a while since Eddie and I last talked. I knew him to be a genuinely good and respectable person. My condolences to his family.
Ralph helped make my transition from a california high school to TJ more manageable. His friendship was invaluable during a time when integration was new to the DISD and diversity was in its infancy. I will always appreciate Ralph's making me feel welcome during my time at TJ.
Ralph "Ed" Hughes I seldom ask for miracles, today but one would do; to have the front door open and see you walking through. A million times I've missed you, a million times I've cried; if love alone could've saved you, you never would've died. In life I loved you dearly, in death I love you still; and in my heart you hold a place that no one could ever fill. It broke my heart to lose you, but you didn't go alone; for part of me went with you, the day God called you home. Rest in my peace, my love. I love you Sweetheart…and always will. Lori
I worked with Ed in Albuquerque NM. Ed always knew how to make me laugh, even during the most difficult of times. He was a great guy with an easy going demenaor and attitude. May you rest in peace… My sincere condolences to his family.
