Ramon E. McMillin's Obituary
McMillin, R. E. “Bill” ~ Of Scurry passed away at his residence on October 23, 2010. He was born on October 10, 1928 to the late Elmer and Opal Turpin McMillin in Fort Worth, Texas. Bill married Rosie Roach on November 5, 1948. He retired from Sears, as a Line Hauler. Bill was a member of the Kaufman Masonic Lodge #726 A. F. & A. M., Dallas I.O.O.F Lodge #44, Athens I.O.O.F. Lodge #961, Lancaster I.O.O.F. Lodge #200, Seagoville Rebekah Lodge #293 and Ridgley Encampment #25. Bill was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Elmer Lee McMillin, Jr., James and Butch McDonald. He is survived by his loving wife, Rosie McMillin; children, Martha Jean Williams; son, Michael Lee McMillin and wife Lynn; grandchildren, Tinamarie McMillin, Michael Lee McMillin, Jr. and wife Jamie; grandsons, Alex and Austin Williams; great-grandson, Michael Lee McMillin, III; numerous nieces, nephews other relatives and a host of friends. Family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., October 27, 2010 at Restland Funeral Home. Services will be held at 3:30 p.m., Thursday, October 28, 2010 at Restland Memorial Chapel. Interment will follow at Restland Memorial Park. Memorials may be made to Seagoville Rebekah Lodge #293, P. O. Box 13; Seagoville, TX 75159.
