Ramona Tello Gonzalez's Obituary
Ramona Tello Gonzalez, 82, went to be with her Lord on April 1, 2023. She passed peacefully in her home surrounded by her family.
Born July 7, 1940, in Jungapeo Michoacán, México, to Juan Tello Marín and Macaria Ruiz Soria. She came to the United States as a young adult where she became a naturalized citizen. After settling in the Chicago area, she met her husband, Rodolfo Gonzalez, a native Texan, and they married in 1964. They later moved to Dallas in 1969.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Rodolfo, and by her parents and her brother, Heriberto Tello Ruiz. She is survived by her sons, Pablo Gonzalez and his wife Donna, Hector Gonzalez, Gilbert Gonzalez and his wife Cindy; daughters, Delia Gonzalez Westergaard and her husband Rick, Diana Gonzalez-Sharolli and her husband Majid; brother José Tello Ruiz; sister María Remedios Tello Ruiz; grandchildren, Monica and Matthew Fields, John Gonzalez and fiancé Susie Kim, Natalie Gonzalez, Alyssa Gonzalez, Nicole Alamrew and her husband Tibebe, Brian Matthews and his wife Kristy. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, sisters-in-law, brother-in-law and great grandchildren. Her entire family will miss her greatly.
Visitation and rosary will be held at Restland Funeral Home, Dallas, on Friday, April 14, from 5:00 – 8:00 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, Dallas, on Saturday, April 15 at 1:00 pm with interment to follow at Restland Cemetery, Dallas. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society (cancer.org).
