Mrs. Ramona Robin Laughlin, 64, went to be with our Lord and Savior on July 24th, 2018. She was born January 24th, 1954 in Baltimore, MD. She has now gone on to join loved ones who have preceded her in death. These include her son Kenneth Laughlin, Jr. mother Juanita Schott, father Gus Herring, Jr., and brother Gus Herring III. Left to cherish her memory are her son Kevin Laughlin, husband Kenneth Laughlin, granddaughter Iylie Laughlin, adoptive father Robert Schott and his wife Doris, sister Suzanne Schott and sister Diane Burinsky, and brother Keith Schott. She also leaves behind numerous sisters and brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.Ramona was a very kind-hearted and gentle soul who could always see the good in everyone and every situation. In recent years, she had been ill, but even in those times she never forgot a birthday or a special day. Prior to her illness, she had been very lively. Her childhood is peppered with stories of sneaking out of the home to climb up a mountain with her well-loved four-legged companion named Bootise. She also once hid in the back of a delivery truck and took a trip to the next town. Her little escapades earned her the nickname of “Little Orphan.”Ramona’s loved ones are saddened by her passing but are honored to have shared her journey in life with her.
