Randy Chaffin's Obituary
Randall "Randy" Chaffin was born in Dennison, Ohio on March 27, 1939. He passed away peacefully on August 16, 2023, in Dallas, Texas. Randy graduated from Denton High School and attended UNT.
Randy worked for 30 years at BAC/Pritchard building cooling towers across the US, including the Galleria Mall in Dallas. At 59, he retired to his lake house at Cedar Creek where his spent his time racing around in his "Totally Insane" speedboat and working on crossword puzzles. He enjoyed watching sports, NASCAR, and hosting his friends and family at the lake.
Randy did not serve in the military, but several family members did, including an ancestor who was a wagon master during the Revolutionary War.
Randy was preceded in death by his sister, Darlene “Dee”, his mother, Rose, his father, Harry, and his wives, Judy, and Cheryl. He is survived by his daughter, Caryn, his nephew, Craig, his niece, Christy, and her two children, Haley, and Austin. He will be missed, but his family is glad that he is no longer in pain and with his parents at Restland.
