Randall Douglas White's Obituary
Randy was born December 9, 1947 in Temple, Texas to Robert Earl White and Juanita Wright and died May 31, 2015 in Garland, Texas. Randy lived most of his early life in the Gatesville, TX area, but being an “Army Brat” he also lived in Guam and Germany. Randy graduated from Gatesville High School in 1965. Fall of 1965 Randy moved to Denton to go to North Texas State University, where he earned his bachelor’s degree in 1969 and his Master’s Degree in 1970. While at NTSU he met and married his wife Susan in June 1969. In 1970 he went into the army and served in Vietnam and Ft. Carson, Colorado. In 1974 Randy went to work for the Rockwall ISD where he worked as a special education teacher/diagnostian for 37 years. Randy loved the Dallas Cowboys, Texas Rangers, traveling the world and his family. He spent many many day fishing with family and friends at the family place at Lake Fork. Randy was proceeded in death by his parents Robert Earl White and Juanita Wright Trantham, his in-laws Doc and Mary Ella Stuller, his son Gregory White, brothers Robert and Mike White, sister in-law Kathy White, niece Emily Stuller. Randy leaves behind his wife Susan, son Brian White (Gidget), granddaughter Avery White, brother Steve White (Kathy), brother in-law Dean Stuller (Sue), nieces Kim Klein, Stephanie Burson (Chris), Lizzy DeCosta (Joey), nephews Evan Stuller (Elise) and Jeremiah Hayes and many cousins. Services will be held at Restland in The Wildwood Chapel on Saturday, June 6 at 10AM, with visitation one hour prior to service and burial following. Donations can be made to Wounded Warrior Project. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Restland Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 13005 Greenville Avenue, at Restland Road, Dallas, TX 75243.
