“Randy”
Beloved Randy, son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, attorney and trusted friend, passed away in Dallas November 21, 2021, into the arms of his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Barbara, his wife, was by his side. Barbara cared for Randy at their endeared home throughout his battle with Parkinson’s. Born April 10,1949, Dallas TX Randy was preceded in death by parents William T. Wisener, Clydelle Wisener, and brother Bill Wisener, owner Bill’s Records & tapes.He is survived by Barbara his wife, his 3 children, their spouses and 8 grandchildren: Atticus Wisener and Jennifer Wisener: Holden, Barret, and Dylan Wisener; Miranda Wisener Sutin and Joshua Sutin: Ben, Noah, Ari & Naomi Sutin; Dustin and Tina Wisener: Preston Wisener. Randy was remarkable throughout his life: natural leader, peerless role model, true gentleman, scratch golfer, proud Dallas Athletic Club member, mellifluously voiced. Clearly a good man embracing and practicing his Christian principles nurtured in him by his parents. Randy grew up in Garland and graduated from Garland High School where he was a golf standout. He played in the 1967 US Amateur Championship at the Broadmoor. He was inducted into the Garland Sports Hall of Fame in 2008. Randy attended St. Mary’s University and excelled in the study of the law earning a J.D., St. Mary’s University, with distinction, 1987. He earned an M.A., Roosevelt University, with honors, 1972; a B.S. North Texas State University, magna cum laude, 1971.
Randy had been a partner in several law firms when he, along with Robert Nunnally, founded the firm Wisener, Nunnally, Roth in 2000. Randy retired in 2018.Randy and Barbara traveled often to their favorite places: France, The Lodge at Torrey Pines, Pebble Beach. Randy will mostly be remembered as a passionate adoring husband and grandfather who at the end of the day could be found happiest with Barbara in their home at Dallas Athletic Club watching golf on the course or on TV surrounded by grandchildren and family.
Randy is dearly and deeply missed.
Service will be Tuesday, 2:00p.m. December 21, 2021 Memorial Chapel, Restland
