Randy Waterman's Obituary
Randy Turnbow Waterman was born on November 19, 1945 in Haskell, Texas to Cletus and Mozelle Turnbow. She passed away at the age of 75 on May 8, 2021 in Dallas, Texas. After graduating high school, Randy moved to the Dallas area. She would call this city home for the rest of her life. She loved Dallas and never understood why anyone would live anywhere else. She was also a faithful and loyal Dallas Cowboys fan, in good seasons and bad. On February 6, 1992, Randy married the love of her life, Harold Waterman. They would remain married until his death on June 12, 2017. Their early years consisted of square dancing, travel, horse races, casinos, and watching the stock market. They did not have children but had two beloved dogs: Skipper and Cookie. She began her education at University of Texas and received her Masters from the University of Texas system. Randy was a professor at Richland College for more than 30 years, before her retirement in 2019. She had many professional associations: American Business Law Association Academy of Legal Studies in Business, International Academy of Business and Public Administration – Texas Community College Teachers Association, UNT Alumni Association, and Richland Faculty Association.
Randy is preceded in death by her father, Cletus Turnbow and mother, Mozelle Turnbow. Also, by her husband, Harold Waterman. Both her beloved dogs also preceded her in death. She is survived by her sister, Jerry Shepard; nieces Andrea Shepard and Cyndi Bode (Jeff Bode); as well as great nieces Hailey Bode and Ashtyn Bode.
