Was so sorry to learn of Raphael’s passing. My condolences goes out to his whole beautiful family which meant everything to him. For me if it was Mexican food I wanted, there was only one place to go—-Rafa’s! Not only was the food the best, especially the chips, but it just felt like home. Raphael always made you feel like he was so glad to see you, that you were special to him. He was a very special person. He will be truly missed by all who were fortunate to have known him. Rafa’s will still be great, but it won’t be the same with out him there.
Dear Rafa. Thursday morning scripture class will never be the same without you there. You were always a great source of strength and faith to all of us. Your love and devotion to your family is incomparable. I'll never forget our trip to Israel in 2018 with you and Kathy. Your great strength and determination were admirable...especially your brave ascent to the Church of the Visitation, Ein Karem, Jerusalem, was a great inspiration to all the rest of us Pilgrims.
