Raul Antonio Najera's Obituary
Raul Antonio Najera, beloved husband, father, and friend, passed away on May 29, 2025, in Richardson, Texas. Born on June 14, 1952, in El Paso, Texas, Raul lived a life filled with love, laughter, and an unwavering devotion to his family.
A kindhearted soul with twinkling eyes, Raul was cherished by those who knew him. His journey with his loving wife, Celia, began in 1972 when they were both right out of high school. Their first date on Christmas Day marked the beginning of a lifelong love story, and they were married for 51 beautiful years. Through their unwavering commitment, they built a beautiful life, raising three daughters: Judy, Nancy, and Alex. They also shared six amazing grandchildren: Matthew, Mia, Chloe, Brady, Ethan, and Natalie. Raul was always surrounded by strong, loving women in his family, including his sisters Linda and Patsy. He was his family’s number one supporter, their rock, and their inspiration.
Music was the heartbeat of Raul’s soul. A passionate drummer, he found joy in the rhythms of life, his love for 70s rock music never wavering, not even on his final day. His faith was steadfast to the Catholic church, and he attended mass and prayed the rosary daily to guide and protect his loved ones.
Raul’s presence brought warmth, wisdom, and laughter to those around him. He will be sincerely missed by his devoted family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. Though he is no longer physically with us, his spirit lives on in the love he shared, the music he played, and the lives he touched.
