Survived by Karen Ayala (daughter) of Mesquite, Texas Kathy Throop (daughter) and husband James Throop of Bella Vista, Arkansas Jennifer Hawkins (daughter-in-law) Laura Russell (granddaughter) and husband, Jordan Russell of Houston, TX Kristina Rogers (granddaughter) and husband, Brandon Rogers of Tulsa, OK Layla Beaty (granddaughter) and husband, Charlie of Plano, TX Amber Brown (granddaughter) of Garland, TX Connor and Brannon Hawkins (grandsons) of Austin, TX The visitation for Ray Hawkins will be from 11:00 AM to 2:30 PM on Friday, November 20, 2015, with the service starting at 2:30 PM in The Memorial Chapel at Restland Funeral Home. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Restland Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 13005 Greenville Avenue, at Restland Road, Dallas, TX 75243. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to “Assist the Officer Foundation” through the Dallas Police Department.
