NEW BOSTON, TX – Raymond Louis Barton was born on June 19, 1958 in Fort Worth, Texas to Roxie L. and Harvey J. Barton. He passed away in New Boston, Texas on November 8, 2017. He was 59 years of age.He was preceded in death by his wife, Ramona Kathleen Barton.Raymond leaves behind to cherish his memory his dear mother, Roxie Farmer; sons Benjamin Whitfield, Michael S. Barton, and Shawn Barton; brother, Ed Cate and wife Michelle; sisters, Sara Cate-Bennet and husband Duane, Lenora Williams and husband Scott, Roxie Leatherman and husband Jody; grandchildren, Matthew, Caitlin, Kristlyn and Kealey; many nephews, nieces, and friends.The family will receive friends from 6-8:00 PM Friday, November 10, 2017 at Restland Funeral Home. Please stop by the reception desk and the funeral home staff will escort you to staterooms E-F.The service to honor Raymond’s life will be at 3:00 pm Saturday, November 11, 2017 at The Abbey Chapel at Restland Memorial Home. Dr. Micheal Waco will officiate. Following the service, there will be a short procession to the Garden of Wisdom for a brief committal service.Arrangements are under the care of Restland Funeral Home located at 13005 Greenville Ave., Dallas, TX 75243.
