Dr. Raymond Neil Dott's Obituary
Dr. Raymond Neil Dott was born January 12, 1927 in Providence, R.I. God called him home on June 14, 2009. He spent most of his young life in Newport, RI. Ray was an Air Force veteran of WWII. He received his doctor of Osteopathy in radiology. Ray was a radiologist at Dallas Memorial Hospital from 1958-1993. Ray is survived by his wife, Rosalie; daughter, Dr. Laura Dott; sons, Stephen Dott and wife, Marilyn, Dr. Greg Dott, Dr. Kenneth Dott and wife, Kimberly; daughter-inlaw Dr. Cindy Dott; step-daughter Donna Long; step-sons, Steve Murr and wife, Toni, Ron Murr; Bruce Lankford and wife, Kim; grandchildren: Tim, Erica, Harrison, Kenny, Mel and Kimberly Dott, Nikki Rice; stepgrandchildren: Joshua and wife, Rachel Murr, Michael and Matthew Murr, Brandon and wife, Jaime Bailey, Jennifer Bailey, Alexander Drake, Kristin, Cody and Kyle Lankford, Shaquil Murr and four great grandchildren. Also survived by best friends since age 13, Ed Clarke and Fred Caswell. Visitation 6:30-8:30pm, Wednesday at Restland Funeral Home. Services 12:30PM, Thursday, June 18, 2009 Restland Memorial Chapel with interment to follow in Flower Mound Cemetery in Flower Mound, TX. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Ray’s name to St. Jude’s Childrens Hospital. God has you in His Keeping; we have you in our hearts.
