Ray was my barber in Farmers Branch where I grew up. He was an impossibly kind and gentle man who was loved and respected by all who knew him. There wasn't a single soul who didn't greatly benefit from knowing Ray Grimes and the unique effect he had on everyone who was fortunate enough to have known him.....
Myself and my 3 sons all got our hair cut by Ray at Hair Menders from the late 1980's till he retired. We all have fond memories of him. Ray always had a calming presence and usually had a good story or two about his horses, his farm, and or his family! I'm sure he will be greatly missed by his loved ones and others.
