Raymond Horace Pearson's Obituary
Raymond Horace Pearson was born on November 6, 1927 in Tucson, Arizona, but raised in Oklahoma City. He served in the Coast Guard during WWII. After the war he earned his engineering degree and worked at Seismic Engineering Co. where he developed many patents. Ray met Marie Beasely December 1947 and were married in September 1948. They were married for 66 years. Survived by his wife, Marie; daughter, Sue Menefee and husband, Mike; daughter, Toni Kendall and husband, Terry, along with four grandchildren, Mike, Brad, Jason and Emily. The family attended Scofield Memorial Church where he served as a deacon. He loved his family, but his greatest treasure was his salvation. “I am the resurrection and the life, he that believeth in me though he were dead, yet shall he live and whosoever liveth and believeth in Me shall never die. “John 11:25. The services for Raymond Pearson will be held on Saturday, November 22, 2014 at 3:00 PM in The Abbey Chapel at Restland Funeral Home. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Restland Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 13005 Greenville Avenue, at Restland Road, Dallas, TX 75238.
