Reba O. Davis' Obituary
Reba Davis, age 83, of Irving, Texas, went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on March 28, 2025, in Dallas, Texas. She was born on July 07, 1941, in Dallas, Texas. Her brother, A.J. Bellomy of Garland, TX, and her sister, Helen Ruth Nutter of Dallas, and William Bellomy of Frisco, and Sister-n-Love Martha Bellomy of Frisco, preceded her in death, as did her parents, Jack and Lillian Bellomy.
Reba is survived by her daughters, Kathy Smith (her husband, Al) and Gloria Nehrke (her husband, Fred); son, Billy Wayne Davis (his wife, Kim) grandchildren, Ryan Casey Nehrke (his wife, Lizbeth) and Brittany Vera (her husband, Jaryd); great-grandchildren, Levi Vera, Luke Vera, and Lynk Vera, and many more family and friends.
Reba married the love of her life, Billy Jack, on September 6, 1958, in Dallas, Texas. Reba was retired from Teccor Electronics in Irving, Texas. Reba had a profound passion for country music, which led her to attend numerous events with Billy Jack. She was also an active member of a square-dancing club, where she showcased her creativity by designing her dresses. Reba's generosity and kindness shone through in her volunteer work with the school district and Scottish Rite Hospital, spreading joy to children during the holidays.
Reba had an amazing gift for hosting and loved to cook fabulous food for family and friends. Her husband Bill, a retired police officer, would often bring people in need of a meal to their home, and Reba would gladly host them. When anyone would leave her house, Reba's favorite thing to say is, "Watch those Idiots." So, when you are going anywhere, make sure you remember to Watch those Idiots.
Reba also loved to travel. She went to California several times, camping with her family at KOA campgrounds across the United States and traveling to Alaska and the Bahamas on a cruise with her family.
Services will be held on Saturday, April 5th, 2025, at Wildwood Chapel at Restland Cemetery Grounds. The visitation will be at 9:30 a.m., and the celebration of her life will be at 10:30 a.m. Pastor Dan Stevens of Skyline Mission of Faith Church will officiate. A graveside service will be held directly after the service.
