Rebel Louise Neves' Obituary
Rebel Louise (Craig) Neves, of Arthur City, Texas, passed away Wednesday, September 1, with husband, Tom by her side, after a long battle with Parkinson’s disease. Rebel was born in Jermyn, Texas, August 14, 1919 to proud parents, Algie and Effie Peters Craig. Rebel met Tom when she was in the second grade. They married when she was nineteen years young and thus began their beautiful journey in life. Rebel and Tom moved extensively during Tom’s career at Kraft foods. She was a full-time wife and mother. Her family was a priority for her as well as her faith. She also loved travelling, games, Willie Nelson and Elvis, the Dallas Cowboys, the Texas Rangers, and anything else Texan. She and Tom retired to their ranch in 1978 and have resided there ever since. Rebel is survived by her devoted and loving husband of 71 years, Thomas [Tom] Neves; her precious family: granddaughter, Christi Neves Parent and husband, Scott of Colleyville, Texas; granddaughter, Lauren Louise Kemnitz of Grayslake, Illinois; and grandson, Nicholas Todd Kemnitz and wife, Dilara of Libertyville, Illinois; great-granddaughters, Aubrey Lauren Parent and Alexis Grace Parent and great-grandson, Christian Jean Parent of Colleyville, Texas; and daughter-in-law Linda Neves Willis and husband Donald Willis, of Garland, Texas. She was preceded in death by son, Michael Craig Neves, daughter, Cynthia Neves Kemnitz, parents, Algie Craig and Effie Peters Craig, sister, Mex Craig, and brother, Arch Craig. The funeral services will be held on Tuesday, September 7, 2010 at 12:30pm, at Wildwood Chapel at Restland Memorial Park, 13005 Greenville Avenue, Dallas, Texas 75243.
