Rena "Estelle" Cromeens' Obituary
Estelle Cromeens went to be with her Lord and Savior on August 21, 2015. Rena Estelle Conner was born July 7, 1924 in Garland, Texas. After graduating as salutatorian at Garland High School, she went on to support soldiers and the war effort of World War II. While working in Garland, she met and married Navy Veteran Morrell Cromeens. They moved to the Lakewood area of Dallas, Texas; where they went on to raise their four children. Soon after her children had grown, Estelle began a successful career in real estate and investing. Her sweet heart, her love of Jesus, her integrity, and her self-reliance were a wonderful example to her children and grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents Joe Clifton Conner and Gracie Willie Parker; sister Vera Maurine Chase; brother J.C. Conner; and son Douglas Morrell Cromeens. She is survived by son Michael David and wife Gail Cromeens of Mineral Wells, TX; daughter Paula Carvel and husband Frank Fornara of Carrollton, TX; and son, Stephen Joe and wife Jenny Cromeens of Waco, TX. Grandchildren Scott H. and wife Tera Cromeens of Ft. Worth, TX; Brian M. and wife Maggie Cromeens of San Antonio, TX; Sean F. Fornara of New York, NY; Alyssa and husband Carlo Floresca of Frisco, TX; Barton D. and wife Julie Cromeens of Abilene, TX; Bradford H. and wife Karalynn Cromeens of Houston, TX; Benjamin M. and wife Kari Cromeens of Houston, TX; Martha Grace Cromeens of Chapel Hill, NC; Barrett P. and wife Amber Cromeens of Columbus, OH; S. Conner and Natalie Cromeens of Dallas, TX; Mallory S. and Bill Allcorn of Waco, TX; and nine great grandchildren. She is also survived by sisters, Nell Ruthrauff of Seymour, TX; Betty Holt of Rockwall, TX; Beth Roberson of Mesquite, TX; and brother William Conner of Wichita Falls, TX. Also many nieces and nephews. Memorial service will be held Monday, August 24, 2015 at 12:30 PM in The Wildwood Chapel at Restland Funeral Home followed by a reception. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Restland Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 13005 Greenville Avenue, Dallas, TX 75243.
