Rev. Eugene Parker Douglas, 91, of Mesquite, was born May 12, 1930 to Russell Green and Frances Jane Douglas in Douglas, Oklahoma. He passed away October 13, 2021 at his home in Mesquite.
Rev. Douglas was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Glen, Rex, and Bob Douglas. He is survived by his wife, Virginia Douglas; three daughters, Cindy Schone and husband Melvin, Pam Mead and husband Jeff, Rhonda McNabb and husband, Bruce; five grandchildren, Mike Schone and wife Juliana, Jennifer Simonds and husband Joel, Melody Cantrell, Monica McNabb and Heather McNabb; three great-grandchildren, Giovanni Schone, Isabella Schone and Alyssa Simonds; and numerous nieces and nephews. Services for Rev. Douglas will be 10:00AM Monday, October 25 2021 at First Baptist Church of Meadow View in Mesquite. Burial to follow at Restland Memorial Park. There will be a time of visitation starting one hour prior to service time.
