Rex Farley's Obituary
Rex Farley, age 77, passed away peacefully on February 20, 2015 at Medical City Hospital in Dallas, Texas. He was born December 31, 1937 to Noel and Opal (Ezell) Farley in Siloam Springs, Arkansas. He and his parents operated a dairy farm and raised cattle in the Weddington area for many years. Later, he owned Rex’s Texaco in Siloam Springs. Eventually he found his way into the pressure washing equipment business and owned and operated Fame, Inc. in Dallas, Texas. Rex is survived by his wife of 46 years, Jean, in Dallas, Texas, his daughter, Deborah Ann Farley, in Kansas City, Missouri, and cousins, Jerry and Mary Ezell in Bixby, Oklahoma; Ronald and Judy Ezell in Fort Gibson, Oklahoma, Dwain Ezell in Siloam Springs, Arkansas, Arretta Seitz in Siloam Springs, Arkansas, and Melba McNeely in Saint Helens, Oregon. Rex’s wish was to have no formal funeral, but instead to have his ashes returned to the farm where he grew up and scattered there in the presence of his family and extended family. Weather permitting, on Saturday, March 7th, 2015 a memorial Meet and Greet is scheduled for 2:00 PM in the fellowship hall of the First Baptist Church at 2000 Dawn Hill Road in Siloam Springs.
