Rex M. Winters, 88, passed away Friday, February 1, 2019. Funeral service will be held 10 a.m. Wednesday, February 6, 2019 at The Wildwood Chapel, located in Restland Memorial Park.Rex Mount Winters was born October 14, 1930 in Pauls Valley, OK to Bunk and Linda Winters. He was married for 65 years to the love of his life, Shirley Cundiff Winters. After flying F-86 Sabre Jets in the Air Force Rex enjoyed a long career in commercial aviation with Braniff Airlines. Rex was born to be a pilot & sincerely loved every moment of his flying career.Rex is survived by his loving wife, Shirley Winters; son, Gary Winters & his wife Debra South; daughter, Rexanne Dove & her husband Simon.Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Restland Funeral Home and Cemetery, 13005 Greenville Avenue, at Restland Road, Dallas, Texas 75243.
