Reynaldo Herman Lopez-Arce's Obituary
Dallas, Texas. Por Luis Lara. El Coach Rey López nació el 11 de septiembre de 1964 en La Paz Bolivia, hijo de Herman López y Beatriz Arce, tiene seis hermanos. Mauricio, Marcelo, Herman, Daniel, Ricardo y Viviana. El Coach Rey López, se hizo ciudadano de los Estados Unidos.
Desde muy temprana edad se distinguió por ser una persona con buenos principios morales, valores que aprendió en el interior de su hogar. Fue un amoroso padre con su única hija Samantha y abuelos de dos hermosas criaturas Elena y Damian, nacidas Dallas, Texas.
Hizo sus estudios en la ciudad de Santa Cruz de la Sierra Bolivia y salió Bachiller del Colegio Raúl Otero, y un asociado en técnicas deportivas en la ciudad de Nueva York. Desde muy joven se dedicó al fútbol Soccer, donde se divirtió, cosechando muchos logros. Siempre fue una persona muy recursiva, socializaba con mucha facilidad, resiliente y nunca se dio por vencido.
En Bolivia, debutó en el Club Bolívar de La Paz en Primera División y luego en el equipo Magisterio de la ciudad de Sucre, donde logró ser el máximo goleador en su época. El gusto por el fútbol le sirvió para abrirse campo en
la vida, al punto que mostró una gran vocación para enseñar y compartir sus conocimientos del fútbol soccer a jóvenes de todas las edades.
El Coach Rey López, ciudadano de Bolivia y de los Estados Unidos nunca dejó de impresionar y cosechar éxitos en los Estados Unidos.
Coach Rey, natural de La Paz recuerda que desde muy pequeño siempre le apasionó el fútbol soñando y fantaseando en grande, sin limitaciones como muchos niños.
A sus 12 años busco oportunidades para jugar fútbol, demostró destreza y gran talento en los lugares donde lo veían jugar. Un año más adelante paso a las divisiones menores de Bolívar, que habían puesto los ojos en él, integró la “Academia” lugar donde se formó como jugador de fútbol, saltando un año más tarde a la liga profesional del fútbol boliviano jugando en Bolívar de La Paz y luego en Magisterio de Sucre, acumulando 64 partidos y 13 goles hasta que decidió mudarse a EE.UU., en busca de mejores oportunidades.
Y, cuando todo marchaba bien, jugando y estudiando en Nueva York, un infortunio marcó su vida para siempre, sufrió una lesión grave en su rodilla que lo alejaría definitivamente de estar en cancha como jugador. Momentos muy tristes para él ya que su vida y pasión eran el fútbol, sin embargo, él no estaba dispuesto a renunciar. El coraje y el valor de seguir sus sueños lo llevó a instruirse y obtener su licencia como Director Técnico en EE.UU.
Aquel infortunio que parecía terminar con su carrera, pronto se convirtió en el conducto para desarrollarse y abrirse campo como un gran Director Técnico que después de certificarse trabajó con divisiones menores donde gracias a su dedicación y entrega con los chicos, hubo mucha gente que lo apoyó y ayudó a crecer. Llegando en 2006 a asumir la dirección general del Club de Fútbol "Dallas Soccer Star" del cual actualmente es dueño Presidente y Director de entrenadores en la academia. Desde esa época su visión y enfoque no solo estaba en formar jugadores de fútbol, sino también en formar personas de bien, con valores, principios, carácter y actitud de ganadores. Formación que les permitió ganar más de 300 torneos.
Éxitos y reconocimientos
Su exitoso modelo de formación años más tarde lo llevó a ser reconocido como el mejor entrenador de fútbol formativo, 2 veces nombrado entrenador del año en EE.UU., 4 reconocimientos de la Cámara de Senadores en Houston y 7 Premios del Estado de Texas.
Al paso de los años, su crecimiento fue aún mayor, teniendo ahora 25 equipos en su academia y alianzas estratégicas con distintas Universidades de EEUU y clubes del fútbol europeo, algunos de ellos el club RBR Sport
Events LLC., de Italia, el Club Moncada o el Club Levante de España, donde actualmente ya están jugando y donde además seguirán entrando jugadores que se destaquen no sólo de su Academia en Estados Unidos si no también Academias y escuelas con las que tiene alianza en Bolivia. El Semillero uno de ellos, a quienes apoyó numerosas veces para participar en la Copa Dallas, Copa New York Cup participar, Copa Villarreal, dando oportunidad a muchos jóvenes de ir a vivir allá y despegar su carrera futbolística.
Coach Rey, tuvo el privilegio de tener en su hogar a Adrián Jusino, cuando tenía 19 años de edad, logró que ingresara a la Universidad, luego prueba suerte en el FC Dallas, en esa época el cuerpo técnico lo observa durante 15 días, pero no había cupo como defensa central. Así que Adrián decidió irse a Bolivia donde fue aceptado y hoy es titular en Blooming. Adrián ha sido convocado para jugar con la selección nacional de fútbol de Bolivia.
Todos esos logros los realizó el Coach Rey. Son muchos los jóvenes que lo conocen y viven agradecidos por haber recibido su formación en sus Academia de Futbol Soccer.
En Dallas hizo buena sociedad con su Hermano Olvis Eguez
El Coach Rey, vivió la mayor parte de su vida en la ciudad de Dallas compartiendo con su hermano Olvis Eguez (Pilo), con quien pasó muchos momentos inolvidables a su lado y con el cual compartió muchos viajes y anécdotas de su vida. Olvis fue su socio en la empresa de la Academia Deportiva, al punto que confió ciegamente en todo lo que ellos planearon y ejecutaron.
Pilo, fue la persona que jugó un papel muy importante en la vida del Coach Rey, ellos dos hicieron la llave perfecta para que muchos niños, niñas y jóvenes de todas las edades tuvieran el sueño de convertirse en personas responsable, unos en futbolistas profesionales, y otros al menos lograron ingresar a la universidad por medio del futbol Soccer.
Desde el cielo Coach Rey estará orientando a Pilo para que siga con su legado acá en la tierra. Esto no es una despedida, es un hasta luego y nos veremos en la eternidad. El Coach Rey López seguirá vivo en todos nuestros corazones.
Coach Rey López was born on September 11, 1964, in La Paz, Bolivia, to Herman López and Beatriz Arce. He has six siblings: Mauricio, Marcelo, Herman, Daniel, Ricardo, and Viviana. Coach Rey López became a citizen of the United States.
From a very young age, he was distinguished by his good moral principles, values he learned at home. He was a loving father to his only daughter Samantha and grandfather to two beautiful children, Elena and Damian, born in Dallas, Texas.
He completed his studies in the city of Santa Cruz de la Sierra, Bolivia, graduating from Raúl Otero High School, and earned an associate degree in sports techniques in New York City. From a young age, he dedicated himself to soccer, where he had fun and achieved many accomplishments. He was always a very resourceful person, socializing with ease, resilient, and never gave up.
In Bolivia, he debuted in the Club Bolívar of La Paz in the First Division and later in the Magisterio team of the city of Sucre, where he became the top scorer of his time. His love for soccer helped him pave his way in life, to the point that he showed a great vocation for teaching and sharing his soccer knowledge with young people of all ages.
Coach Rey López, a citizen of Bolivia and the United States, never ceased to impress and achieve success in the United States.
Coach Rey, a native of La Paz, remembers that from a very young age, he was always passionate about soccer, dreaming and fantasizing big, without limitations like many children.
At the age of 12, he sought opportunities to play soccer, demonstrating skill and great talent in the places where he played. A year later, he joined the youth divisions of Bolívar, who had their eyes on him, and joined the "Academy," where he trained as a soccer player, moving up a year later to the professional league of Bolivian soccer, playing for Bolívar of La Paz and later for Magisterio of Sucre, accumulating 64 matches and 13 goals until he decided to move to the United States in search of better opportunities.
And when everything was going well, playing and studying in New York, an unfortunate event marked his life forever. He suffered a severe knee injury that would permanently keep him off the field as a player. These were very sad moments for him since his life and passion were soccer. However, he was not willing to give up. The courage and determination to follow his dreams led him to train and obtain his coaching license in the United States.
That misfortune, which seemed to end his career, soon became the conduit for him to develop and make his way as a great coach. After getting certified, he worked with youth divisions, where, thanks to his dedication and commitment to the kids, many people supported and helped him grow. In 2006, he took on the general management of the "Dallas Soccer Star" Football Club, of which he is currently the owner, President, and Head Coach at the academy. Since then, his vision and focus have not only been on training soccer players but also on shaping good people with values, principles, character, and a winning attitude. This training allowed them to win more than 300 tournaments.
Successes and Recognitions
His successful training model later led him to be recognized as the best youth soccer coach, twice named Coach of the Year in the United States, with four recognitions from the Houston Senate Chamber and seven awards from the State of Texas.
Over the years, his growth was even greater, now having 25 teams in his academy and strategic alliances with various universities in the United States and European soccer clubs, some of them being RBR Sport Events LLC from Italy, Club Moncada, and Club Levante from Spain, where players from his academy in the United States and academies and schools he has alliances with in Bolivia are currently playing. One of them, El Semillero, was supported numerous times to participate in the Dallas Cup, New York Cup, and Villarreal Cup, giving many young people the opportunity to go live there and kickstart their soccer careers.
Coach Rey had the privilege of having Adrián Jusino in his home when he was 19 years old. He helped him get into university and later try his luck at FC Dallas. At that time, the coaching staff observed him for 15 days, but there was no spot as a central defender. So, Adrián decided to go to Bolivia, where he was accepted and is now a starter at Blooming. Adrián has been called up to play for the Bolivian national soccer team.
All these achievements were made by Coach Rey. Many young people know him and are grateful for having received their training at his Soccer Academy.
In Dallas, he formed a good partnership with his brother Olvis Eguez.
Coach Rey lived most of his life in the city of Dallas, sharing with his brother Olvis Eguez (Pilo), with whom he spent many unforgettable moments and shared many trips and anecdotes of his life. Olvis was his partner in the Sports Academy business, to the point that he trusted blindly in everything they planned and executed.
Pilo played a very important role in Coach Rey's life. The two of them made the perfect team so that many boys, girls, and young people of all ages could dream of becoming responsible people, some professional soccer players, and others at least managed to get into university through soccer.
From heaven, Coach Rey will be guiding Pilo to continue his legacy here on earth. This is not a goodbye; it's a see you later, and we will meet again in eternity. Coach Rey López will live on in all our hearts.
