Ricardo Agusto Sanchez's Obituary
Mr. Ricardo Sanchez, age 70, passed away on Tuesday, August 16, 2022, in Dallas, Texas. He was born to Mr. Francisco Ernesto Sanchez and Virginia Andrade on Monday, November 26, 1951, in the Panama Canal Zone, Panama. Ricardo was raised by his aunt, Maria Orta. He arrived in the United States in 1970 where he reunited with his mother, Virginia.
He enrolled at El Centro College in Dallas, Texas. During his time at El Centro, Ricardo met the woman of his dreams, Conchita. He enlisted in the U.S. Army in 1971 in search of citizenship and was called to duty shortly thereafter. While away in the Army, Ricardo had the love of Conchita keeping him at peace. They fell in love, married in 1973 and had 3 sons, Ricardo, Oscar and Saul.
Ricardo retired from the City of Dallas as an Environmental Inspector for 27 years while leading the Spanish ministries of Casa View for 26 years. He was a man of God who lived a great heroic story while achieving "The American Dream". Ricardo was a great husband, father, uncle, leader, provider, and faithful servant of God. He was a mentor to many.
He leaves his family and friends with many fond memories including his wife, Conception; sons, Ricardo, Oscar and Saul; and grandson, Saul, Jr. May he now rest in God’s Kingdom as we celebrate his full and beautiful life and the legacy he left behind.
Services for Mr. Ricardo Sanchez will be held Tuesday, August 23, 2022, at 1pm at Casa View Assembly of God Church. A visitation will be held prior on August 22, 2022 from 6p-8p at Casa View Assembly of God Church located at 9949 Ferguson Rd, Dallas, TX 75228.
