Richard Marcus Anglin's Obituary
ANGLIN, RICHARD MARCUS, 93, of Dallas, Passed away December 3, 2007. He was born July 27, 1914 in Smiley, Texas, to the late Richard William and Josie Hughes Anglin. He met his loving wife, Luella, while working for the United States Postal Service. They were married on March 10, 1957. They recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary. Richard and Luella enjoyed traveling and fishing at Caddo Lake following their retirement from the USPS in 1971. Mr. Anglin is survived by wife, Luella, and sister, Julia Scarbrough, of Smiley and survived by numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and three siblings: Howard Anglin, Berta Anglin Burns and Patty Anglin Leming. Mr. Anglin was a member of Ridgewood Park United Methodist Church. Visitation will be 4:00-7:00 PM, Thursday, December 6, 2007 at Restland Funeral Home. Services will be 12:30 PM, Friday, December 7, 2007 at Restland Wildwood Chapel. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Presbyterian Village North or a charity of your choice.
