I happened to try to look up Dick online to reach out as we had not been in touch for a long time when I was shocked to hear of his passing. Dick was a very close childhood friend of mine in Broadalbin, NY. We went to high school together, played sports enjoyed life in our small town in upstate NY. I remember many days of playing basketball in his back yard. Dick was a good friend, athlete, and person! My sincere condolences to his entire family.

I met Mr Blanc thru a close friend of his daughter Jenn in 2007, I met him twice once at Chick-fil-A and once in Plano, I remember the first time I met him at his house we shook hands and he talked about his work, he was a business man and I followed him cause he inspired me -
I am so sorry to hear of his passing. I had a close relationship with him at EDS and we sold several deals together. One memory that stands out is that he and I had both gone on vacation at the same time. He went on a cruise, and my wife and I did a driving trip to Florida. We went to the Southernmost point monument in Key West and happened to run into Dick and his wife doing a shore excursion from their cruise ship. What are the odds. Dick was a really good person and I offer my sincere sympathies to his family.
