Richard Boeving's Obituary
Richard William Boeving, 75, of Addison, TX died on August 29, 2017 in Richardson, TX. He was born on January 18, 1942 to Richard H Boeving and Alice M Boeving in Mascoutah, IL. Richard graduated from Freeburg, IL High School in 1959 and University of Illinois in 1963. He married Carol Erickson on June 26, 1965 in Homer, IL. Richard worked with IBM for 31 years, then Hogan, MBNA, and Bank of America as a Sytems and Software Engineer. He was a member of St. Barnabas Presbyterian Church, a Korey League Baseball Coach, SVAA softball and baseball coach, and on the board of the Manchester Athletic Association. Richard was a St. Louis Cardinal fan forever. He loved to read, crossword puzzles, bridge, board games, golf, and baseball. He also wrote a book on The Boeving’s dating back to the 1200’s.Richard is preceded in death by his parents, Richard Herman and Alice Waeltz Boeving. He is survived by his wife Carol Boeving of Addison, TX; daughters, Angela (Jeff) Mabrey and Allison (Dave) Woulfe; son, Richard Douglas (Susan) Boeving; grandchildren, Zachary Boeving, Alyssa Boeving, Richard Mabrey, William Woulfe, and Samantha Woulfe; sister, Kathleen Ruhmann of Sparta, IL; and brothers, Kent Boeving of Louisville, KY and Joel Boeving of Smithton, IL. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Restland Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 13005 Greenville Avenue, at Restland Road, Dallas, TX 75243.
