Richard "Dick" C. Brown's Obituary
RIchard "Dick" Charles Brown, 91, passed away on Wednesday, October 26, 2022. He was born on Thursday, July 2, 1931, in Belfield, North Dakota, to Carl and Rose Brown. He is preceded in death by both of his parents and his son Paul R. Brown. He is survived by his wife Mary Madison Brown. He is also survived by his daughter Katherine M. Brown, and nephews Alan, Scott, and Shane Kreitinger.
Dick graduated from Belfield High School and the University of North Dakota. He obtained a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering. After graduation, he entered the Air Force as a Second Lieutenant. Several years later he reached the rank of Captain. Upon leaving the Air Force he went to work for Texas Instruments in 1956 and retired 50 years later. He and his family settled in Richardson in 1956.
Dick enjoyed working in the yard and working on the cars he owned. He was also a Boy Scout leader.
Funeral Services will be held at All Saints Catholic Church, located at 5231 Meadowcreek Drive, Dallas, TX, 75248, at 10:30AM on Wednesday, November 9, 2022. A visitation will be held prior on Sunday, October 30, 2022, from 3PM to 6PM at Restland Funeral Home.
