Richard Dick Bubel's Obituary
Richard “Dick” Bubel passed away peacefully in his home on May 12, 2020, at the age of 88. He was born September 22, 1931, in Rochester, New York, to Cornelius and Isabelle "Mary" Bubel. He married the love of his life Elizabeth “Betty” Striler on September 9, 1950. They moved to Texas in 1970, where Dick ran a successful piano business, selling player pianos and fun piano rolls such as "Yes! We Have No Bananas". He formed “The Humblers” a Dallas-based golf group where he spent many weekends building life-long friendships and striving to perfect his golf game. Dick was a self-described “loveable” father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and great-great-grandfather, and he was a man through it all who did it his way! He's described as a "class act".
Dick is preceded in death by his loving wife Betty. He is survived by his son Roger and his wife Michal, their daughters: MacKenzie and Morgan; his son Michael and his wife Gail, their children: Heather, Matt, Chelsea and her husband Rene; his son Timothy and his wife Laurie, their children: Neil and his wife Jennifer, Kevin, and Stephanie; and his daughter Mary and her husband Mike, their daughters: Christina, Nicole, Amanda, and Kaylee; and his great-grandchildren, Adrian, Tiana, Isabella, Hayden, and Amelia and great-great-grandchild Rhyden.
