I met Richard about 6 months ago. He called me to clean his and Rudy's home. We became friends from the moment I walked in the door. He was the sweetest and a funny man. I looked forward to Fridays and going to clean but also to visit with him. My grandbaby went with me a few weeks ago and Richard was just so kind to her. He turned on frozen so she danced and sang for him, bless his heart he had to listen to her as she put on a show for him. She's 3 and when her mom and dad came to pick her up she told them she had a new friend Richard. God must have need a special angel so he choose Richard. Diana Martin
I met Richard when we worked together at United Healthcare. He was always so wonderful to be around and if I needed a smile or cheering up, he was the one to turn to. I will miss you Richard. Although I have never had the chance to meet my ex brother in law, he was often spoken about between Rudy, myself, and our son Daniel Joseph Chavez. Richard was Daniel's Uncle, and they never had the chance to meet in the physical world. One day, they will have that chance to meet, and when they do meet, they can then have that special Uncle/Nephew Bond. The one memory I do have of Richard is Rudy telling me that when he was little, he used to bite himself, and then blame it on Richard….. Richard will be sadly missed.
