RICHARD S. CURTIS, JR., passed away May 14, 2011 in Frisco, TX. Graveside service will be held at 12:00PM, Tuesday, May 17, 2011 at Restland Memorial Park with visitation 1 hour prior to service at Restland Funeral Home. He was preceded in death by his wife, Patsy Curtis of Carrollton; parents, Seymour and Mabel Curtis of Lufkin, TX; sister, Betty Jo Groves of Houston and niece Michelle Groves of Houston. He is survived by daughters, Sherry Henderson and husband, Jim of Corinth, Nelea Lane and husband, Mike of Prosper, Karen Curtis -Ray and husband Jim of Coppell; son, Eric Curtis and wife, Robin of Lake Dallas; six grandchildren; three great grandchildren; aunts and uncles; nieces and nephews and many grand dogs. He was retired from Bell Helicopter, Hurst. Richard was a member of the Sunrise Daylight Lodge #1433, Ft. Worth, TX, Scottish Rite Free Masonry, Ft. Worth, TX, Knights Templar of Texas #19 and Lufkin Shrine Club, Lufkin, TX. The family wishes to thank Frank, Gerri and Peggy from Prairie Estates, Frisco, TX, Tanya and Lanie of Lufkin, TX for their love, care and compassion this last year. …. just away
