Richard Lee (Dick) Adams' Obituary
Dick Adams, born September 8, 1940 in Lyons, Kansas to Floyd Lee Adams and Ruth Gwin Adams, died December 8, 2013 after a courageous battle with cancer. He is survived by his wife, Lyn Adams; sister, Ronda Kay Young; 5 children, Tammy Buckner (Marty); Steve Adams (Karen); Lisa Petri (Tony); Lori Newton; David Adams (LaDonna); step-son Scott Rose (Deborah); 11 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren. Dick left a lasting impact on all of the lives he touched. His incredible mind, great wit and generous spirit will be enormously missed by all of us who knew and loved him. Visitation is Thursday, December 12, 2013 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Restland. Services will be held at 12 noon on Friday, December 13, 2013 in Memorial Chapel in the main building. A meal will be served for family and friends at Woodcreek Church, 3400 E. Renner Rd., Richardson, TX 75082, after services. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Woodcreek Church or a charity of your choice.
