Rickey and I have been friends over 70 years. We lived on the same street in Trinity Heights which is in Oak Cliff.we played little league baseball together and spent many hours going to movies on Saturday mornings. Although we attended different high schools, we maintained our friendship. Later in life we attended many Rangers’ baseball games and along with other life long friends celebrated Valentines’ Day with our respective wives and partners. Rick’s passing was a tragedy and I express my deepest sympathy to his sister Penny and extended family. Rickey has been and will be a cherished person in my life. Randall Meeks July 20, 2025.
