Richard Michael Heller's Obituary
Age 71, of Carrollton, passed away on Monday, August 17 in his home. He was born on April 18, 1944 in Chicago, IL, and was adopted by his parents, Hugo Heller, Jr. and Marion Heller Poden. Dick was the youngest of 2 chidren. He married Patricia Haugh in Chicago, IL on April 29, 1967. They had 2 children. He graduated from Northwestern Naval & Military Academy as a Cadet Captain in 1962 and from Loyola University in 1966 with a Bachelor’s in Business. He was a current resident of Carrollton for 29 years. He founded Specialty Printing & Graphics, Inc. and worked as a Vice President and Sales Manager for 17 years. He enjoyed playing with his grandchildren and traveling with his family. He is preceded in death by his wife, Patricia; sister, Maryann Heller Murphy; mother, Marion Heller Poden; father, Hugo Heller, Jr.; mother-in-law, Helen Haugh; sister-in-law, Linda Altman; and brother-in-law Kenneth Murphy. Dick will be remembered by his loving children, Richard and John. He is also survived by nephews, Michael and Patrick; niece Kathleen; daughter-in-law, Adella; ex-daughters-in-law, Janella and Melissa; grandsons, Charlie, Michael, and Tommy. Visitation will be held from 6-8 pm Tuesday, August 18, 2015 at Restland Funeral Home. Service will take place at 12:30 pm Wednesday. August 19, 2015 at The Wildwood Chapel at Restland Funeral Home. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Restland Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 13005 Greenville Avenue, Dallas, TX 75243 at Restland Road.
