Richard Earl Hill's Obituary
On the morning of September 21, 2017 the angels descended from heaven to welcome Rick home. Rick loved fishing, Nascar, restoring jeeps, talking on and repairing CB radios. He was employed by JLL Corporations as a Critical Environmental Manager. He was a lung transplant recipient on December 2, 2016. Rick is survived by his loving wife of 25 years, Sara; sons, Jarod and wife Lea, Todd and wife Liz, 4 daughters: Brittany and wife Mandy,Tara and husband Nathan; Candy and Deanna; 14 grandchildren: Kyler, Xander, Haylee, Aubrey, Kristi, Abram, Toby, Arabella, Cassandra, Makayla, Samantha, Hollie, Jacy and Kaitlyn; brother, David; sisters, Joellen and Angie and husband, Gary; step-mother, Helen; and beloved dogs, “Precious and Poopy Bear.” He is also survived by a large loving family of in-laws, nieces and nephews, and a large circle of friends. Rick was preceded in death by parents, Jane and Joe and his grandparents; brothers-in-law, Jimmy Settles, James Hill, and Bob Brayshaw. A visitation will be on Saturday, September 30, 2017 from 6-8 PM at Restland Memorial Chapel. Funeral Service will be on Sunday, October 1, 2017 at 2:30 PM at Restland Memorial Chapel with a visitation one hour prior. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Children’s Hospital, Dallas, TX or Baylor Health Care Foundation-Lung Transplant Unit, 3600 Gaston Ave, Ste. 100, Dallas, TX 75246-2017.
