Very sad to get this news regarding Rick. I had the pleasure of working with him over the course of the past couple of years. He was as genuine and nice as they come. I’ll certainly miss working with him. My condolences to all of his loved ones.
Rick was a very nice man who always treated me kindly and with respect whenever I had to deal with him through work. I will miss him greatly.My thoughts and prayers are with the his wife and family as they go through this difficult time.

Rick, My Best Friend and Mentor… Rick was always willing to help others, always there to Help and Lend a Hand where it was needed, if he possibly could. But Most of All, His Family was who he Cared for the Most.Rick was always willing to Teach me All about CB Radios, CB Radio Amplifiers and Related Equipment…I would come by for a Visit at his House / Shop and we would just Talk and Kid around and have Fun, but there was always something he wanted to me to know, to learn. A lot of the Time, I just sat there and Listened to him as he Worked on the CB or Amp, Telling me what made them Tick, How to Build as well as to Troubleshoot and Repair them. I just Soaked it all in wanting to Remember Every Word. Rick, you were and still are my Inspiration. You took me under your wing, wanting to Teach me a Trade that I can use to help me later when I’m Forced to Retire. You Trusted me and Cared and did so much for me, more so than any Friend ever did. I was Blessed to be able to be your Friend and I will continue to go forward with what you have taught me and make you Proud! I will Forever Remember You and Our Friendship.Among so many other Friends, I know that Rick also had a Great many CB Friends…he was So Very Popular and I know that many in the CB World will Miss him as much as I will. My heartfelt prayers are with the Hill family. I knew Rick through work and only worked with him for a short time. He made an incredible impression on me from day one! A bold believer, his soft, genuine and generous personality was an inspiration to me! He never had a bad thing to say about anyone and volunteered to help if he saw a need. A true hero and role model! I am sad for the loss the world has experienced with Rick’s passing, but I am overjoyed knowing he is being welcomed joyfully home in Heaven. I wish peace and blessings for all of Rick’s family members; his loss is unfathomable, but the gain for having him with us here on earth for the time we did is an even greater blessing to those who knew him!

Although I never met him in person, Rick helped me so much with my restoration project. We talked on the phone a few times and many, many messages of all sorts were sent online. He was always willing to give insightful information on the FSJ Forum. He sounded like a “Good Guy”. My prayers go out to his family.
We were so sad to hear the news of your passing, Rick. You were a great neighbor and friend to Thomas and myself. Then one day came along where I was able to introduce you to a really good friend of mine, Sara. I knew the minute the two of you met that it was meant to be. I met Rick mid-June this year, new to my job and eager to learn he was willing to listen and share his wisdom. We quickly found similarities in our love of Jeeps and from there I look forward to our next job together. He spoke passionately of his children and grandchildren and found solidarity in watching them return to his lake house; his kids grown now with their own. Rick has personal qualities you do not see anymore. He worked with duty, pride, loyalty, respect and would have done anything for you. He is the guy who makes you want to be a better person. I am happy to call Rick my friend. RIP Sir I wish I knew you longer; I do not take our time for granted.
