Richard (Rick) Hinojosa Suarez's Obituary
SUAREZ, RICHARD (RICK) HINOJOSA born July 16, 1947 in Weslaco, TX and passed away October 19, 2013 in Plano, TX. Richard graduated from Weslaco High School and North Texas State University and proudly served our country in the U.S. Air Force. He was employed for 29 years at Valspar, previously DeSoto and was a member of St. Michael the Arch Angel Catholic Church. Richard was a wonderful father, husband, grandfather, brother, and brother-in-law who had a kind and gentle spirit and was loved by all. He was preceded in death by his parents, Atilano Jr. and Matilde Suarez; and brother, Robert (Bob) Suarez. Richard is survived by his wife, Winifred (Winnie) Suarez; daughter, Jennifer Collinsworth and husband, Adam; son, Alex Suarez; grandson, Brycen Collinsworth; sisters, Minerva (Minnie) Capello, Bertha Suarez and husband David Garcia; brother, Albert Suarez and wife, Lucy; sister-in-law, Shirley Suarez; and numerous nieces, nephews, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law and other relatives. Rosary will be prayed at 6:30 PM, Wednesday, October 23, 2013 at Restland Memorial Chapel. Mass will be recited at 1:00 PM, Thursday, October 24, 2013 at St. Michael Archangel Catholic Church in Garland, Texas. Interment to follow at Restland Memorial Park.
