Mr. Richard Lee Hudman, age 64, passed away on Friday, November 19, 2021, in Richardson, Texas. He was born to Mr. Denton E. Hudman and Ms. Mattie Hyatt on Wednesday, August 14, 1957, in Dallas, Texas. Richard is preceded by spouse, Melissa Simonton Hudman. He is survived by stepson Jason Simonton; stepdaughter Julie Simonton; brother Denton Hudman; grandchildren Kaylee Simonton, Brianna Simonton, Griffin Simonton, Colten Simonton, Jay Simonton, Connor Simonton, and Nathan Simonton; great-grandchildren Carter Simonton.
Richard was a member of the Dallas Safari Club, Hella Shriners, Grand Lodge of Texas, and the National Rifle Association. He enjoyed hunting and spending time with the family outdoors.
Richard never met stranger and always would tell anyone what he thought. Richard was a wonderful husband. He loved to spend time with his grandchildren whether it was in the outdoors or graduations. He was a special man that will be missed by everyone.
Services for Mr. Richard Hudman are as follows: Visitation, Friday, December 3, 2021 from 4p-6p at Restland Funeral Home; Funeral Service Saturday, December 4, 2021 at 10am in The Wildwood Chapel at Restland Funeral Home.
