Mr. Richard Lynn Irby, age 76, of Garland, Texas passed away peacefully on September 15, 2019 in Garland, Texas. He was born on April 17, 1943 to his loving and thoughtful parents James Reddell Irby and Dollie Mae Irby in Memphis, Texas. Richard married Michele Steele on December 22, 1966 in Cache, Oklahoma. He was an independent Pharmacist for 32 years. He was a member of NRA, APHA and Phi Delta Chi. Richard Lynn Irby served in the United States Army from September 15, 1966 – August 31, 1972 as a “1st Lieutenant Armored Tanker” Mr.Richard Lynn Irby is survived by his wife Michele Steele Irby – Garland, TX, daughter Jennifer (Mitch) Rogers – Richardson, Texas, Sons: Judson Allen (Vanessa) Irby, Hoang Gee (Jessica) Young – Arlington, TX, Christopher Weathersby – Ft Worth, TX. Brother Dennis _Peggy) Irby – Rockwall, TX, brother-in-law Todd Steele – Ft Worth, TX, Mom Dollie Mae Irby – Rockwall, TX, niece Alana Michele Irby, six grand kids: Renee Michal Rogers, Ryah Michelle Rogers, Roarke Michaela Rogers, Veronica Claire Irby, Vivienne Olive Irby and James Wolfram Irby. He will be sincerely missed by his loving family, his devoted friends and all the wonderful individuals who knew and loved him. Visitation for Richard Lynn Irby will be held Monday September 23, 2019 at 9:00 am at Restland Funeral Home, Service will follow 10:00 am.
