Elaine and I enjoyed knowing Dick the short time we knew him.
He was always cheerful and kind.
Condolences to the family and friends. Dick was a wonderful and kind man. It was a blessing to have known him.
It has been my pleasure to witness the two of you look at one another, exchange anniversary vows and gently kiss every week at the 9:15 Mass at Christ Church. I watched you as you held hands, went to receive Holy Communion and then proceed to the sanctuary where you prayed for and with us. I have admired the two of you for so many years. I doubt there is no greater love story than the one you lived together for almost 60 years. Betty, I am so very sorry for your loss.
Heaven just got one of the world’s best people who ever arrived there. Dick enjoyed his physcial life with his loving family and all of us friends. He will enjoy being with the rest of his family now. We are sad that we did not meet Dick and Betty sooner or spend more time with them. Our sincere thoughts and prayers are sent to Betty and the family.
