Richard Holt McCally's Obituary
Richard Holt McCally passed away on 8/11/2022 from complications associated with cancer. Richard was born in Fort Worth, Texas on 6/1/1938. He was preceded in death by his wife of 52 years, Elizabeth Ann “Betsy” McCally, his brother, James R. McCally and is survived by his second wife, Patricia McCally of Wylie.
Richard, along with his brother and their father, formed The McCally Company back in 1958. Over the years, they performed the plumbing, heating and air conditioning on most every City of Dallas landmark in downtown Dallas such as the Dallas City Hall, Dallas Public Library, Dallas Museum of Fine Art, Dallas Convention Center among many others.
“Dick” known by his friends or “Pappy” to his many grandchildren and several greatgrandchildren was such a sweet man! He will be missed by all that knew him.
