World War II Army Air Corps veteran, Richard Floyd Miller, Jr., age 95, was born to parents Richard F. Miller, Sr. and Viola May in Dallas, Texas on May 3, 1924. He passed away on the late morning of Tuesday, June 18, 2019 in Dallas, Texas.Richard was preceded in death by his wife of 51 years, Lahoma Jewel Hardin; siblings, Nadine Hindman, Lois Turner and Gene Miller. He is survived by siblings, Norma Hill and Jim Miller; eight children, David, Paul, Mark, Daniel Bruce, Bryan, Matt, Kathleen and Julie; nine grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Richard will be deeply missed by his loving family, his devoted friends, and all the wonderful individuals who came to know and love him.The family requests that visiting hours be observed on Friday, June 21, 2019 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Restland Funeral Home, 13005 Greenville Avenue, Dallas, TX 75243. Funeral service will be on Saturday, June 22, 2019 at 3:00 PM in the Wildwood Chapel at Restland Funeral Home. Interment will follow in the Court of Meditation in Restland Cemetery.Funeral arrangements for Mr. Richard Miller, Jr. have been faithfully entrusted to Restland Funeral Home and Cemetery.
