Richard Welsh Moore's Obituary
MOORE, RICHARD WELSH Was born March 20, 1939 in Dallas, TX. Preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Sarah Moore; sister, Paula Moore; and brother, Robert E. Moore. Richard is survived by wife, Sandra; daughter; Jennifer; son, Thomas and his wife, Vanessa; grandsons, Austin and Dylan; and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. Richard served eight years in the U. S. Coast Guard Reserves. He retired after 35 years with TXU. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Richardson, was active in Goldenaires Choir, and made numerous mission trips to the Valley. He enjoyed spending time with family, working in his shop, and gardening. Richard was loved by all and will be deeply missed. Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 PM, Thursday, November 1st at Restland Funeral Home. Services will be held at 10:00 AM, Friday, November 2nd at 1st Baptist Church of Richardson.
