Richard Caldwell Morgan II's Obituary
MORGAN, RICHARD CALDWELL II Born in Paris, TX to Ann and Richard Morgan of Detroit, TX. “Rick” graduated from Woodrow Wilson High School in Dallas where he was a Lt Col in ROTC. He also studied engineering at the University of Texas and went on to work in the Telecommunications industry for over 40 years in Texas and Atlanta, GA. Rick was an avid hunter, into all sorts of electronic gadgets and enjoyed traveling with his wife Jody via motorcycle to 49 states, Canada and Europe. He was in the Dallas Emergency Core, a Constable for Jack Richardson, Odd Fellow and IEEE. He dearly loved the family land east of Terrell where he worked the land and raised Longhorn cattle. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend. He is survived by his wife Jody of 52 years; daughters Sheryl Randolph and Barbara Morgan; son-in-law Bill Randolph and grandsons Evan, Zach, William and Robert. He will be missed by them all and many, many other friends and of course his dog Taffy as well. Memorial service will be held at 2:00PM, Wednesday, June 1, 2011 at Sudie George Chapel, First Presbyterian Church of Dallas, 408 Park Ave., Dallas, TX 75201.
