Richard Durand Delle, age 69 passed away on Saturday, June 9, 2018, at Vitas Health Care in Carrollton, TX. He was born August 3, 1948, in Dallas to Raymond and Mary Eloise Delle.A 1967 graduate of Bryan Adams High School in Dall Read Obituary
Richard presented the opportunity for me to work a temporary assignment at US Concrete at a time when I needed it most. I was very grateful for the opportunity. He was very quiet man with a genuine personality and gentle spirit. I am sorry to learn of his passing and that he was not able to fully enjoy his retirement. RIP, Richard.
I never met anyone quite like Richard, such a fun-loving, warm-hearted, unique character. Rest in peace.
In 1973 I was fresh out of nursing school and headed for the big city of Dallas, and that is where I met Richard Delle. We had lots of fun in those years, and Richard became a very special lifelong friend. He helped me through some rough times and provided support and lots of laughs. Though sometimes years lapsed between our communications, I always felt a closeness to Richard. When we got together it was just like it had always been between us. There are a handful of people in my life who I feel really know the real me. Richard was one of them. I will miss him terribly.
Richard was a good friend and Co-worker for several years at Gifforf-Hill. I have many fond memories of those days and have been greatly sorrowed by his passing. He is truly missed and I pray we will meet again.
In Fond Memory of Richard Delle. Richard just bought the house across the street from us. My wife and I met Richard when we were working on the plants in front of our House. He walked across the street and introduced himself. He shared with us a little bit of his history and why he chose to reside in the M-streets, a Historical Side in Dallas. He went on to ask us, if we would like to come over sometimes in the near future and share a bottle of Italian Wine with him and even help him out with the décor in his new home. We were both delighted. We went to John’s, a local Italian Grocery Store, to shop for appetizer to compliment the wine. Richard struck us as a warm, polite, educated and well mannered Gentlemen. It is with our deepest regret for the most unforeseen tragic loss of our new . Richard will be remain forever in our thoughts and prayers.
