Richard Durand Delle, age 69 passed away on Saturday, June 9, 2018, at Vitas Health Care in Carrollton, TX. He was born August 3, 1948, in Dallas to Raymond and Mary Eloise Delle.A 1967 graduate of Bryan Adams High School in Dallas, he later attended North Texas State University graduating in 1972 with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a concentration in accounting.Richard worked with Blue Cross / Blue Shield and Gifford Hill before accepting a position with Lehigh Hanson Concrete in California where he lived for over twenty years. In 2005, he returned to Dallas as CFO of U.S. Concrete and at the time of his death, was retiring as CFO of it’s subsidiary, Redi-Mix.Richard enjoyed his family, traveling and the multitude of friends around him. They loved his warm smile and laughter often shared over dinner at unique restaurants. He was a wine connoisseur who also loved jazz and sailing.Richard is preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Mary Eloise Delle; step-mother, Kate Delle; and brother, Floyd Delle.He is survived by sisters, Mary Linda (Jerry) Stroope of Pearland, TX; Raye Louise Delle of Lancaster, TX; and Kathy (step-sister) (Chuck) Magers of Alba, TX; nieces and nephews, Lauren Rae Stroope of Galveston, TX, O.T.
