Richard Lee Uhrik's Obituary
Richard Lee Uhrik was born on June 20, 1927, in Waukegan, Illinois and passed away on March 30, 2017, in Plano, Texas. Richard is preceded in death by his parents, Paul Uhrik and Olga Kunst Uhrik and his son, David Uhrik. Richard is survived by his loving wife of sixty-three years, Shirley Uhrik; his children, Stephen (Frances), Carl (Michael Burkart), Paul, Bill (Kathy), Julie Schmidt, James (Mary),Andrew (Kristina),Mary Taxter (Shawn) and fourteen grandchildren and one great grandson. Richard was fond of hiking, a love for dogs and a green thumb while working in the yard. Richard worked for Collins radio for nearly forty years. A rosary for Richard will be held on Monday, April 3, 2017, from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the St. Joseph Catholic Church located at 600 S Jupiter Rd, Richardson, TX 75081. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, April 4, 2017, at 10:00 AM at the St. Paul Catholic Church located at 720 S. Floyd, Richardson, Texas, 75080.
