Rick Hale's Obituary
Allen Rickey Hale (Rick) was born on August 12, 1947, in Beaumont, Texas and passed away March 16, 2017, in Garland, Texas, after a valiant battle with cancer. He was 69 years old. He is well-known for his service to others through the accounting practice he has owned since 1985. His clients know him as a dedicated, hard-worker with a great sense of humor. He enjoyed buying fast cars throughout his life and helping others do the same. He also enjoyed traveling with his wife and spending time with his grandchildren. Preceded in death by his parents, Grady Hale and Verna Mae Hale. Survived by beloved wife of 33 years Emily Hale, daughter Meredith Lynn Miller (husband Jason Miller), sister Gerline Bryant (husband Jim Bryant), brother Gregory Hale (wife Suzanne Hale), sister Donna Hale, sister Rebecca Chism (husband Terry Chism), brother-in-law Thomas Hass (wife Sandy Hass), grandson Ethan Miller, granddaughters Kate Miller and Ava Miller, nephews Christopher Hale, Travis Hale (wife Maria Hale), Joshua Hale, Christopher Hass, and Richard Hass. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, March 22nd, 2017 from 6:00 – 8:00 pm at Restland Funeral Home. Service will be held on Thursday, March 23rd, 2017 at 2:30 pm in The Memorial Chapel at Restland Funeral Home. Then, there will be a short procession to Highland Garden in Restland Memorial Park for a brief committal service. Following the service, all are invited to a reception at the Restland Event Center located at 9222 Restland Road, Dallas, TX 75243. In lieu of flowers, please make memorial contributions to MD Anderson Cancer Center at https://gifts.mdanderson.org or The Salvation Army at https://give.salvationarmyusa.org. Arrangements are under the direction of Restland Funeral Home located at 13005 Greenville Avenue, Dallas, TX 75243.
