Rick Hong-En Huang's Obituary
Rick Hong En -Huang of Dallas, Texas of passed away on July 3, 2017, in Dallas, Texas. He was born on September 15, 1945, to Ying – Lou Huang and Hong –Chao Shih, He married Ruthlin on May 22, 1971, in Taipei, Taiwan. He was the owner of Huang Acrylic Inc. Of Carrolton, Texas. He was a member of Dallas Chinese Fellowship Church and Chinese and Mission Dallas. He is survived by his loving wife, Ruth of Dallas, Texas; daughter, Joy Pai of Los Angeles, California ; son, Sean Huang of Frisco, Texas; sisters, Shan Shan Hsu of Dallas, Texas, Pian Huang of Richardson, Texas, Liley Yeh of Potmac, Maryland; Grace Chen of Rowlett, Texas and Sharon Huduck of Dallas, Texas; brothers, Chung –En Huang and three grandchildren. In 1976, Rick and his wife Ruth immigrated to the U.S from Tainan, Taiwan. Eventually, they settled in Richardson Texas to be close to his family. In 1978, he began a company Huang Acrylic out his home and garage. Since then it has become one of the largest importers and distributors of fabricated acrylic products. Rick’s first love was Christ. In 1981, he and his Christian Brother and sisters began a small fellowship out his home. This fellowship later became Dallas Chinese Fellowship Church (DCFC). He remained active and served in many capacities at DCFC. In 2016, Rick and a group of his Christian brothers and sisters began the Chinese mission of Dallas ( CCMOD) to focus their attention on encouraging believers to go into missions. He will always be remembered for his generosity, leadership and his ability to bring joy and laughter to any gathering. The family will receive friends on Friday, July 14, 2017, on 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Restland Funeral Home. Service for Rick will be held on Saturday, July 15, 2017, 9:30 AM at CCMOD, 2800 Custer Pkwy, Richardson, TX 75080. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Restland Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 13005 Greenville Avenue, Dallas, TX 75243.
